on reservoir with mr. phen

Another coffee session was scheduled for Friday morning, a grey and rainy one. Before entering our sacred mini temple on wheels, I noticed on the other side of the street Lynne's dream machine was parked.

After a little drive under the rain I found a parking spot in front of the H corner, which was quite convenient. There was no room inside the cafe, so we seated outside. Mr. Phen joined us a few minutes later and it was one of those rare occassions where we all had clarity about what kind of fuel we wanted, to combat the first hours of the day.

I found that avocado on toast, which Mr. Phen ordered, was exceptionally well done, and intriguing. Next time I may have to give it a go.

My sculptural ricotta choice, the second of the year, was as good as the first one, but without the surprise component. Quite a magic combination of flavours.

As usual on this cozy address, we ended our morning rituals with a few cold drips. This time it was all about Sumatra.
