My trip to London this week was shorter than I wanted, so the list of things to do in the kingdom of gin had to be drastically reduced.
Three brand new players for my G&T menu took centre stage. London Distillery Company's Dodd's Gin (49,9% vol.) from Battersea, Warner Edwards' 2014 limited edition Victoria's Rhubard Gin (40% vol.) from Northants, and a completely unexpected Pink Pepper Gin (44% vol.) by Audemus from Cognac, which unfortunately only was available in a minuscule 200ml bottle.

spring "tapeo"
Following long hours at the garden, it is extremely relaxing to grab something which does not require any intensive preparation.
Fresh bread and cheese with a tasty glass of wine seem to be the most obvious choice in this kind of situation. In this particular case raw milk cheese from Sobrado, produced by the Santos family was my option.
A basic interpretation of "paella" under a roasted red capsicum is another, let's say, natural direction to take.

air canada's dog food
Traveling with Air Canada has always been kind of torturous, but in the last couple of years it simply got worst.
The undescribable main of the "dinner" above was presented as paella. I'm not even sure my cat would even try it.
Then you also can find fabulous ingredients that may you wonder if some intoxication will take place right after swallowing any of them.
