Back in Syd City it becomes unavoidable visiting Bourke St. Bakery to start the day with some sort of baking magic. Today it was a rhubarb Danish that ignited my daily happiness...

There's always a perfect excuse to visit the Yarra Valley and surroundings. Coming all the way from Europe it's not a bad place to refresh the brain and muscles, after twenty something hours in planes.

fabes & cava
As part of the 70th celebrations, we decided to visit Asturies. The rural part of it is glorious, but the urban developments are not particularly mesmerizing.
The sider is huge in this part of the world, but bubbles from Recaredo felt like a better choice to keep celebrating.
Fabada is the culinary speciality of this green region, so we had a remarkable one. The beans almost melted in my mouth, it basically felt like having bean cream; it'd definitely make a great ice cream.
