wylie rocks

What a fun evening we had on Clinton Street today! I had no idea what to expect, but by the time we left wd~50 I was feeling great. It wasn't clear we were going to make it when we arrived to Pearson airport earlier today, and we were told our flight to LGA had been cancelled.

can fabes did it

Our one and only visit to Sant Celoni turned out to be a not only unforgettable, but epic afternoon our stomachs will treasure for the rest of our lifes.

inopia for ever

It was close to four years ago when we last visited this memorable joint in the Catalan capital. Simplicity and intensity were two characteristics that called my attention each time we showed up.

wagstaff drive

This morning we made it to what seems to be Little India, which happens to be not too far from our central headquarters. Finding parking wasn't an obvious part of the trip, but we finally found one convenient spot for spring days like this.

We were determined to have an interesting caffeine moment, and we luckily did. The level of skill by our two baristas was remarkable, and since we were the only two customers during most of our visit, the whole experience was pretty enjoyable.

I had a Guatemala flat white, and Lyn tried the Big Bro equivalent. With clearly different attributes, both of them provided full satisfaction. I was quite impressed. So far, I never saw this level of attention to detail in the city of TO, when it comes to coffee time.

These guys are serious about their coffee, so we went on to finish with an espresso. This time we tried their Elevens blend, and their Big Bro. Again, they were amazing, but this time the kick was particularly intense; a bitter-frutty punch to activate the laziest neurone in the brain. The Pilot warehouse is certainly a good stop to start the day under full stimulation.

resurrection sunday

Yesterday was Resurrection Sunday. Oh yes, a miraculous feeling invaded our morning, so we figured out it was a good time to celebrate. Initially I wasn't sure how to do it, but later on it felt like ducking around was the way to go.

As celebrations of any reasonable merit tend to do, we needed to cheer, so what better than a deeply passionate cocktail to underline our genuinely resurrectional spirit of the day?
